Powdercoat shops can hardly be found here in UAE. I recall 3 in dubai.

I talked to some friends here and there and they said painting will last very very long + They dont recall anyone with painted calipers that came back unsatisfied for at least 1.5-2 years.

I'll go for painting + WALD sticker logo as he mentioned over the phone.

In case of paint issues in 3-4 months i will paint them black and get rid of the headache and repainting.

Worth a try i guess.

as long as done right, painting can go a long way. my calipers were painted for good 6 yrs and still like new, no chipping no peeling

but painting and put on wald stickers on brakes that are not by wald? not my cup of tea

Agreed. Just do proper prep and use one of the High Temp engine enamels.

I agree with Rom on either black or silver.

Please don't put a wald sticker

If anything, slap on a Lexus sticker

I forgot, a couple of clear coat will help protect that paint.

Thinking of the WALD logo as a chrome vinyl cut decal.

Thanks for the input guys. I will paint it in the next few days.

Can someone help me get the color code of candy rubby red ?

Thanx in advance

Painted Calipers + Painted LOGO **** No sticker...
All credits go to CL member
SOLO

He gave me the WALD logo file which i took to the vinyl shop and printed the logo.

**************************

Paint inside the letters which is best ofcourse.
Paint Caliper + Paint inside the letters

The one i will use is in the 2nd picture

Picture shows all logos in 1 vinyl sheet, they were later cut into individuals
The structure of each one consists of 3 pieces:

The top plastic cover ( Sticks from the bottom only )
Rectanglular Frame* centre letters WALD ( Sticks top & bottom )
The bottom plastic cover ( Sticks from the Top only )

Process After painting the caliper red or any desired color and waiting sometime for the paint to dry:

1.Remove the bottom plastic cover and stick Rectanglular frame with the top plastic cover onto the painted caliper.

2.Gently remove the top plastic cover.

3.With the help of the rectangular frame newspaper or any covering material may be used on the frame covering the whole caliper to ensure and prevent the white letter paint not being mixed with the red painted caliper.

4.Remove the Rectangular frame.

Process is easy, All you need is 4 pieces.I printed 9 of em just in case the process has to be repeated

Im worried about the overlay white paint on the red paint
Im afraid the white WALD logo paint wont stick properly over the red...
maybe after the whol caliper is painted red and with the help of the rectangular frame the WALD letters should be scratched. In other words the red paint should be removed from that area and then paint the letters white..
It all depends on who paints the caliper
