Changing FM frequency interval.. Is there a way?
Please accept my apologies if this has been answered before . I searched but could not find an answer.
I just imported a 2002 LS430 and a 2007 LS460L from the US to the middle east. In the US, FM radio frequencies always end in odd numbers (e.g. 87.7, 87.9, 88.1, 88.3). However, in the middle east, we also have FM frequencies that end in "even" numbers (e.g. 88.2, 88.4, 88.6).
The 2002 Ls430 already has one "even" channel already stored (88.6), but I was not able to show other "even" channels.
My question is: Is there a way to show those numbers on the two US cars radios without having to change the radio?
Thanks for help...

I was told that the radio tuner needs to be changed (costs around $500) with one from a mid-east dealer. Only then you can receive even frequencies.
I heard that some techs can modify the existing tuner to make it possible to receive even frequencies.
Let's know what you find as I'm facing the same issue right now (I can't listen to radio).

Thanks for the reply.
As I said earlier, the 2002 LS430 shows one channel with even number in the radio presets (i.e. 88.6). I don't know how the previous owner managed to tune to it and store it. There should be a way other than changing the radio tuner. Lets hope that someone finds it and share it.
