Default Help, crazy wife smashed my screen

Hello All,

I am new to this site. I figured I'd ask those who are most familiar with Lexus to help me find a part. My crazy wife (currently seperated) has smashed my Nav screen, resulting in huge damage to the screen panel. I'm a DYI-er and I took my dash apart. I was wondering if anyone could help me find this screen if not, then perhaps the entire center stack, dealer quoted me over $13,000!! Please help.

Your thread reminded me of a similar one from several months ago. Hope it helps.

Basically, your car was vandalized. Have you tried to see if your insurance would cover the cost?

They might need a report but it would not hurt to ask.

There are two ID tags on the back of the screen
One starts with 7H08142. Try Googling the number below it that starts with 'LT.....'
On the other tag you can also try to Google the number in yellow that starts with 'VGA.......'

Good luck

That first ebay item does not look like a nav for a 460.

Jim's right; this is the LS460's Navi screen, with the buttons set up laterally:

Caveat Emptor... The Navi link posted above originates from a RX330:

Take pictures before the Divorce Judge as evidence of brutality & spousal abuse.

The damage looks intentional to me regardless of her driving or not. Nobody could possibly do that damage without intent or a car accident. Either way she has to pay for it or the insurance company. Especially if the issues happened before you broke up. If she did this out of spite this was a crime. Wish you had called the police if your wife did this during the marriage because this looks like she ultimately is negligent and responsible for the repairs to your LS460's navigation damage.

She knew what to damage to upset you and no matter how much a person is worth money wise, $13,000 is alot of cash or credit to pay for a navigation system(or the screen)! Hope the best for you on this one sir, that hurts me for you! L.G.N.M
