Wow! My tires arrived at my door just 20 hours after ordering!! I wonder how they (Tire Rack and UPS) does that? I did not even pay for expedited shipping....I wonder if they would have arrived in a few minutes if I did!!!

Can you give us your impressions about the new set and how you compare the new tires to the old ones? Noise, comfort, road feel, ...etc

I'm interested in knowing what others think about Michelin compared to the other brands.

These boys from Tire Rack have shipping down to a science and UPS just pushes them to your door.

I had ordered before and had them send directly to preferred installer. The installed called me like the next day and I was surprised since I was out of town.

It's great service from Tire Rack and the money you save.

Agreed. I'm now sold on Tire Rack.

Update. (I am the original poster): The ride was VERY harsh. And the temps here in Pittsburgh were an unusual 90-95 degrees. So I lowered the tire pressures to 31 degrees cold from 33. And the temps are now a more seasonal 80ish degrees. The ride is now FABULOUS!

I had a set on my Ls. Got about 36000 miles on them.
They had much better wet traction than the bridgestones that came with the car. also no hydroplaning in deep water.
They were still very poor in snow. After about 12000 miles the wet traction was not as good. Probably geting into the harder tire compound.
I now have continental. dws on the car. They are prety good for traction . the only tire that I could actually drive on snow with. only down side with them is flat spot when the tire is cold and my gas mileage dropped some.

Some people have reported right side drift with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. Has anyone experience this?

Copy that. I just installed them on my LS600hL and they're as quiet and smooth as any tire I've used.

In October I'll be driving across the country (San Diego to Orlando then home to Maine) and I'll report any issues..........
