Glove box was actually a redesign, you will notice inside that the entire assembly was replaced not just the door, the inside shelf now sits and an angle (not level) owners volume is large and it fits better and that the materials are much better quality, its also easier IMO to get the filter door out. They also added more adjustments on the new design.

I have found, at least at my dealer that they are more than willing to fix or replace anything I bring up, within reason, I get the same level of service with CPO that my neighbor does with his new 2010, we share the same service manager and same dealer.

There is a TSIB on the homelink issue, I believe it pertains to programming certain rolling-code devices.

With regard to the glove box, I just had my car into the dealership to look at some TSIB issues, and for the glove box, they told me they are no longer replacing the whole glove box, but are just replacing something in the latching mechanism. I'm hoping that's not true since the replacement box sounds like a better design.

Jim,

My garage door opener is not a rolling code and still would not program. Luckily, the dealer replaced the entire unit.

As for the glove box, the dealer replaced mine in it's entirety. However, I haven't looked at it close enough to tell if it's the redesign model.

Just had the same bearing problem on our 2007 LS460L at 40k. Also, as with Flyman 767, the glove box door, while it does operate, fits poorly leaving a large gap --wider than Detroit in the 70's.
