Default Any sub replacement suggestion on ML?

OK, so I finally picked out the 460L I want and will be ready for delivery on Monday. I drove it and checked everything I've read so far on the forum and everything checked out. The only thing that didnt spark me too much was the bass with the ML system. I listen to mostly hip-hop, R&B.

I was wondering if any of the members replaced or added an extra sub to the ML system? And if so, was it connected to the factory amp or was an external amp used? Thanks in advance.

Dual TC sounds 18" should do the trick.

factory amp is designed for specific power output. you will need to run a seporate amp if you will upgrade the factory sub. otherwise you will damage the sub from underpowered amp and also will damage the amp because sub will try to pull more power out of it than what it was designed for.

Ummmmmm, dont even know what to really say about that but I'll pass on the 18 in that car. I have a pair of 15s in my burban and that more than plenty. Just want to fill the LS a bit.

I was just kiddin with ya. But you would be better off adding an amp and a sub either replacing the ML one with one that has more SPL down low with more power, or disconecting the ML sub and adding something bigger with more power.
