Emergency Trunk Opening Procedure

If your battery is in the trunk ( 600h ) you'll need to use Techstream. There is an option to clear faults / reset the trunk latches. Once I reset mine the trunk opened and functioned correctly. I didn't need to replace any parts.

Update: I have techstream and have cleared the codes (there were no codes) and this did not open the trunk. Is there a menu to "reset" the ecu? All I can see is to clear the codes.

Double click the "Back Door"

Click on "Active Test" . Then on the prompt Select "Latch release"
