Default TSW Willows Opinions anyone?

I really want a set of Vossen's but budget won't allow it right now. Also wanted to get your opinions on the TSW Willows on the LS.

Thanks in advance!!

I like them. That amount of lip on the rear wheel really makes it stand out. How much are those wheels?

I looked up the Willows online and couldnt find a 22". You plan on going with 20s? That pic looks kind of deceiving. If they are 20s, they sure do look bigger.

Yeah, those are probably 22s.

I really still prefer the Vossen 083, but the TSW Willows are about $285 per wheel.

I looked up wheelsnext.com and they are less than 2k with tires (Falken 452).

No immediate plans to buy, but they sure are tempting.

Somebody care to photochop some 19s/20s?

Is that for a staggered fitment? 1,2 or 3 piece?

Just save a little longer and get some Vossens. If you get these TSW's, every time you look at your car you will say "damn I should have gotten what I really wanted". I look at it this way, if I am going to spend money why not get what I want? You will thank yourself in the end. I have Vossens and can attest to their quality .

Also I would recommend Yokohama S.drives over the Falken's for around the same price if not lower. I have had them for just over two years and about 34k miles and have about 6-10k miles left on them. I have a friend with a Genesis on 20's with falkens and they were louder and not quite as smooth.

For reference I have a 99 LS400 with Megan coilovers, Vossen VVS-078, Yoko S.drive 245/35/20 f and 275/30/20 rear. Good luck with your wheel and tire hunting buddy.

Thanks everyone for the replies!!

I may just wait and save up for the Vossens and get a staggered setup of
083s (19x8.5 and 19x10). I'm just gonna lower it with some Tanabe NF210s for now.

Yeah man go with the Vossens, however imho if you are buying aftermarket wheels you should go with at least 20's but I think 22's fit the 460-460l better. I'm sure you are worried about ride quality, in my experience if you go with good tires that are known to be smooth and quiet it will make less of an impact than the springs you want to put on.

You should hook up with another CL member that is in your area that has a 460-460l with 22's to experience it for yourself to see if it is something you can live with. My car comes stock with 16's and I went with 20's which is a 4 inch jump (the same for you 18-22), so after I had them installed I was expecting a rough ride and was shocked at how comparable it was to stock. The S.drives were quieter and went over the reflectors smother than stock and were as smooth or smoother on everything but the roughest sections of road in which it was slightly worse. I was riding on 20's with stock suspension for a few days before I got my coilovers installed and only after the coilover install was the ride noticeably changed.

Default i have willows

i put these tsw willows on my ls460l and they look awesome. they are the ones with the black lip which is the only wheel that has a black lip with a silver inside. my one beef is that i can not find centercaps with the lexus logo that fits. i think it looks cheap to have a TSW logo on my car, I have some extra centercaps on order so i might just need to make my own. does anyone know of a center cap with a lexus logo that will fit a TSW wheel?
