Default RIMS STOLEN!!! alarm system and wheel locks

Hey I recently had my rims stolen last Wednesday (22" Lexani LX-15).I have a few questions. Im in the market for an after market alarm system and came across the Viper 5902 with remote start. I would like to know if any other LS460 owners have this alarm system installed on their vehicle or any similar Viper alarm system. If so have you had any problems with this alarm system? I also plan on getting the Viper VSM100 which allows you arm and disarm your car from your phone. A tech from Best Buy told me that I would have to also purchase a bypass for the remote start. Also I would like to know what’s the best wheel locks on the market. because I had wheel locks on all four of my wheels but they were able to still steal them!
thanks in advance

omg, that is fkn ridiculous...those fools are pieces of ***** for real..i can't imagine how mad you are right now..sorry to hear

Side note, wheel locks will not stop a good thief..just barely slow them down. Your best defense is having your car nearby, with cameras on them and a sensitive alarm to page you, and a bunch of boys with you with your conceal/carry permit and a 45 heater to get them back on the spot..hopefully.

I see you are in GA, where did this happen?

oh my ****!

I hate these dickless thieves! I hope you can sort this out asap.

btw, i suggest trying your local classifieds sites. Generally dumb theives will post up the 'fresh' goods on these sites to sell, but you probably had pros steal your rims.

Hope you can get good luck your way!

yup, jump on craigslist right away. If someone is selling those, chances are....bring some boys with you along with your 45 and take em back, but i recommend calling the police first..for their sake! In all seriousness, some of theses thieves are smart when it comes to stealing stuff, but covering their tracks is a diff story..hopefully you'll get lucky. I assume you filed a police report and all that so if they bust up a theft ring you can claim them and get em back...hopefully!

You might want to rephrase that. Its as if you "had" something to do with it hehehee....... Anyway, completely understood. Damn that sucks man. Pay the deductable and get the $$$ from insurance and get a new set. Where was this stolen? Your parking stall? Looks like an inside job

As for wheel locks....get some Gorilla's and put 5 on each lug on every wheel.
It may not completely stop thieves but most will turn away seeing how much trouble they will have getting through 20 Gorilla locks.

These will not be on Craigslist, at least not local. I would check Pawn shops. But even if you find them (rims) you wont be able to do anything about it (legally), and why would you waste your time looking for them. Move on... Call your insurance company and get new rims with better locks.
Good luck.

Get kyo ei dency 2000 wheel locks. The regular wheel locks thieves can just jam a socket on it and remove it, but with these locks I dont think it will be possible as the cover just spins, while u need a special magnet key to remove the cover

yeah it does suck. these wheels was stolen from my parking garage. i stay in a skyrise condo in buckhead. which have cameras everywhere. i actually park under a a camera but before they stole my rims they spray painted the camera above my car. whoever did it was pros. my insurance company already issued me a check to replace wheels. thats why this time i want to have the best wheel locks and a decent alarm system. they also scratches the side of my car and crack the molden on bottom of the car from being on bricks.

viper works well the both vehicles.. u shouldnt have any problems.. i also suggest u add a digital tilt/motion sensor.. if anyone tries to jack up ur car it'll trigger the alarm an alert ur smartphone.. sorry for the bad luck.. the gorilla lock is a good idea but here's a better option.. get four kits use a different lock on each lug.. (so u need 5 lug keys to remove any 1 wheels) then find a hiding place in the car for them in case of a flat or emergency....
saved my a$$ more than once..most thieves wont have time too loosen 1 wheel much less all 4
