What size snow tires for stock 18's?
Hey everyone...did a search..my stock tires are 235/50/18.....should I go the same size or are there multiple options that I have?
If someone could post what size tires would work it would give me a better chance of finding a set.
Thanks in advance

Two winters ago I got four Michelin X-Ice 235/50R18's from Tire Rack for my '08 LS. I live west of Denver up against the mountains and we get as much snow as anyone. These tires did fine, much better than any other 2-wheeled, rear drive car I've owned, even a couple front wheel drive cars.
I have them mounted on the OEM wheels and change them out with the summer tires mounted on the Teleios wheels.
P.S. I have an extra set of Mint cdx 18" OEM wheels for sale if anyone wants them...$500+ shipping from 80401.

Just received my 245/50/18s in the WS-60 flavor. . lower speed rating, softer tires, better in the snow.
Why go up 10mm? Price, firstly. Since the OEMs know 235/50/18 is a standard size for expensive cars, they are $200+ per. I paid $160 each for the 245/50/18. Or you could go down in size for even more of a savings.
I like how these fill the wheel well a bit more, and the even give you about .2" more ground clearance. Although, we all know that if the snow kisses the bumper, our RWD cars make terrible plows.
I have not wintered in the LS yet. . just years of Blizzaks on my GS. I expect good things.
