Hey guys I am new to this part of club Lexus. I currently drive an 07 GS350 that has been modifed. I love the car ( minus the dash rattle ) but with the arrival of a new baby we need more room. For a while I actually considered a Toyota Venza but every time I checked them out the low rent interior just bothered the crap out of me. In the end I started looking for previously owned LS460s. I found an 07 LS460 with 32k miles on it and I got the dealership down to $38,500 from $42,500 ( bottom internet price). The car is in amazing shape. Its got the NAV/Mark Levinson system. The car is starfire pearl with the light beige interior. I plan to add a set of 22's and lower the car . I was wondering what springs LS owners are using and if there are any coilover options other than the JIC Magic set up. I went the spring route with my GS but the switched to coilovers .


I have also read about the wind noise issues and drove the car on the freeway twice and listened carefully and heard nothing. I checked the steering , brakes, and throttle response off the line and all seems normal. Is there anything else I should watch out for??? Any recommendations for the suspension set up. I know the Tanabe route is going to be easy and cheap but I am still leaning towards the coilovers. Anyone here have the Tanabe springs and like them ???? Is there any noticeable sagging???

PS I will post pics of the car tomorrow. I went to check it out today and got so caught up in checking the car over with a fine toothed comb that I forgot to take some pics. I am really excited to move up into the LS460. I posted a shot of my current car. I know I am going to be depressed for a couple of day going back to totally stock for a while but the LS460 will be nicer when I add my touch to the car
