I am looking at a 2007 LS 460 with 12K original miles. Sewell is asking $46,000 for the car. I do believe it is a good buy and is like new. The car is Obsidian black with tan interior. It was a lease car and came from the Miami, FL area. The valve spring mod has been done and it has no wind noise at 75. I already own a 2010 RX 350 and hope it is not representative of Lexus quality. Even though the car is a 2007 model I just don't see that much difference from a new one other that price. Comments

Off hand the price seems a bit high. Of course that is just their asking price and you will offer much less.
I would go to Edmunds and look up the value based on whatever options the car has and its low mileage.

- LS460 is a totally different machine from all the other Lex lines. The car gives a totally different driving experience than any other car of its size & class, let alone smaller Lex cars.
-The asking price is high. I'd pay that money for an '08L or '09 (SWB) with same mileage, but certainly not '07.
- It could be just me, but I'd go for an '09 to skip the recalls and potential headache that might or might not occur after the VSR fix. Again, it could be just me. I've got a gorgeous '08 that I enjoy to drive everyday, but I would have gone with a '09 had I known about the VSR issue. I'd love to have a factory-sealed engine throughout the ownership time.

I bought a LS 460"L" for the same price and the same mileage! Not to mention some of the upgrades such as the ML Stereo System which is so much better than the stock one, Park Assistance and the Ride Height Suspension just to name a few! Look at the options it has, cause they make a huge difference! Leg room was my main reason for snatching up the LWB. I want my passengers to feel that Luxury Comfort! The rest of the car speaks for itself! It's the Lexus FLAGSHIP...

I decided to pass on this car. Sewell would not budge off $47K. No ML and no air susp. Even though it had only 12K miles I thought $41 would make it a better buy.
