My first post to this site as I just took delivery of a new 011 LS. Have had previous Lexus models as well as both BMW 7 and Audi A8. Is there any way to disable the motion sensor (Clipping the wire or removing the sensor) that prevents using most of the Nav functions while moving? The German cars all permit full Nav function while in motion, and at least the passenger in the LS should be able to do so. Had a tech tell me it could be disabled but was not specific as to method. Any ideas? Great site and will view often.

A lot of us have installed the unit sold by PS. No cutting wires, no removing sensors, etc, ...... a truly plug & play. I have had it since 2007, it has served us very well. Moreover, their after sales support is exceptional. Call Mark to see if it is compatiable with 2011 models.
