Default Headlight issue

I have a 07 LS460 SWB with 51k. The right side headlight comes on as it should for about a minute then goes out. I'm not sure if this is a bulb issue or a ballast issue. Any thoughts or ideas ?

likely bulbs, but slight change of ballast. you can try to swap the bulbs left to right and vise versa, and see how the problem is

if it's bulbs, just get replacement bulbs from ebay, cheaper. make sure you get a pair, otherwise color will be different

you can pay a lot more for the german bulbs, but I get the same or better life and same light output out of the these, good reseller up in SF too

nothing wrong with ballast, this happened to me. HID bulbs will go out if they cannot maintain current properly then come back on. Just put in a new pair of bulbs. Get some OEM brand bulbs on Ebay and save a grip because they DO NOT cost over $100 each..you should be able to get a pair for way under that

Your ballast is fine, you need a set of bulbs (Always replace both for equal light output) and that will fix the issue. I had the same problem few months ago with the driver side flicker then would go out, I would turn off the lights and turn them back so it would light up again. I was told by tech that the first run OEM bubs were defective and they replace a lot under warranty for customers on 07 models, problem is they only replaced one bulb.
