just joined the forum and just recently purchased a CPO 2008 black LS460L. i was originally looking at the mercedes s550, but after driving the LS and looking at the warranty i was sold. anyway, i am having the dealer tint the windows today and looking at possibly changing the rims to chrome. i have the 19" rims that came with the car. also, im a little dissapointed in the lack of a usb port for music, does anyone know of a way to integrate one with the mark levinson system? anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated and if there are any things i should look out for on this model let me know.

Congrats on the ride.
You're asking about USB integration. VAIS Tech is the answer. They've got several models (ipod audio only vs ipod audio/video, analog vs digital sound, capability to use mass storage devices as a medium to play music...etc).
I'm looking at the ML+ model. Though I should tell you that it's been reported that this particular model isn't 100% compatible with the LS460. Do a little research and see.

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the Club!
Actually I like the wheels you have on there now.
I see you're in Nevada. I once drove to Las Vegas in an $80,000 LS and came back on a $600,000 bus!

Just picked it up from the dealer, had them tint the windows and it looks great. They said the brake actuator needs to be replaced so they ordered it and I will take the car back when it gets in.

i was actually looking at the shorter LS, but after i test drove this one i loved it. then i saw some people looking at it while i was there so i told the salesman to go ahead and wrap it up cuz i didnt want anyone else to get it. so far it is great. they had just dropped the price $10k from the week before. no regrets at all!
