I bought 2 pairs of white 13-SMD bulbs from the "bay". Ordered them last week and they came in today. I wanted to installed them as parking and reverse lights. One bulb was DOA so I'm awaiting word from the seller. I was able to install a pair as reverse lights so I thought I'd share a pic. I apologize for the poor quality. Pic was taken in low light and very tight quarters. Output is more white than blue. I'll post a pic of the corners once I get the replacement.

Thx for posting this earlier, I got my LED's in and thought I would start with the reverse lights thinking it should be easy like my 430 was but dayum its tight! My name is not Frodo nor do I have his size hands/fingers!!

Please tell me how did you swap them out?

long needle nose pliers for me, that is how I replaced the Nike lights too.. seems like most of the bulbs on this LS require you to have long thin hands!

well, finally had some time today so Tee rolled by my house and we tackled both cars. I installed the 38 led reverse lights, but had no long needle noise pliers so I actually just took off the entire inner rear lens and it was pretty easy. Put some 9 LED in the doors and some 5 LED in the front dome. Luckily Tee had a spare festoon led for my rear dome light. Then, we tackled the Nike lights on our cars. Actually had a tough time getting the bulbs out and back in..couldnt seem to move the metal tabs to give more room..again no long needle nose so I can see how that may have helped alot. Needless to say, the 38 LED looks amazing in the Nike and Reverse lights. Next step is puddle lights on mirrors, footwells, and trunk.

and pics of what we did today will be posted tomorrow..Tee took them with his camera..

appreciate the various pics, it really helped us out during this mini meet install

First like to say thx to everyone here who posted pics, instructions with this mod and to CJITTY for his pre work! Here are the pics in the order of what we did yesterday.

Reverse LED's

We removeed the taillights to allow more room to get to the light b/c we had no long needle nose pliers.

Pull the trunk liner back (it has snaps to lock back in place) and remove the silver bolts.

Remove the black bolts, then discounnet the wiring harnes.

They must have little azz kids building these &((#)#%& cars in Japan. But it looks sooooo much better than that vomit color stock bulb. Tee Money, these bulbs betta last!!!!

Default Fyi

The pics above make the LED's look more white than what the are, the reverse lights are really white but the nike light really is 6000K (bluish white) like these below I took this morning.

It is really hard sometimes to get cameras to show the true temp, since I don't have proffesinal gear but wanted to get close as I could.

Default How do I make just my nike lights come on?

Seems they only come on when my low beams are on...

I'm making the mod this weekend - can't wait to see how the new bulbs look!

they are your parking lights, the first position on your light switch? We have our Daytime Running Lights disabled from dealer, so maybe that is why you are having that issue. You could try it with the car off, they should come on that way..if not, I have no idea what is going on
