hmmm i really want to go with coilovers but how is the ride of coilovers vs the springs?? i really want the adjustability though... im not going to be road racing thoough just regular street driving..
EDIT: also btw what are the offsets of the rims if you dont mind me asking??

springs will not void warranty. The only thing it will void is if the part you installed is directly related to the failure of a part. My G35 was a chemistry lab for tuner parts. She had it all (short of forced induction) and she was serviced only at the dealership. In fact I had my ECU retuned and ended up blowing an injector and they still covered it even after confronting me about playing with the eCU. I just told them I never touched a thing with the ECU and they took my word for it. Funny since there was a huge technosquare sticker sitting on the intake manifold. lol

Very nice ride. I also have a black ls460 and I'm also lookin at 22s for my ls460 but I'm in MN and we have similar pothole filled roads. What's your experience or suggestion? Should I stick with 20s and bigger tires.

you could always do the 22's and no drop. It doesnt look as good as his but I do not have a bouncy ride and my tires will last. I am still considering it. If I do drop it though I will be sticking with coilovers for adjustability and no sag. Aftermarket springs will always sag in my experience .

I'm worried with hitting a pothole and with the amount of tire on the 22s it may dent the rim. Does anyone know if Vossen's warranty covers pothole damage from regular driving. Sorry I don't mean to intrude on your thread but I thought I would ask for your personal opinion since you're also dealing with ugly roads.

The roads in AZ are pristine . I really don't ever think about potholes but any wheel and tire would be damaged if you hit it hard enough. What I do is set the pressure in the tires at 44 psi instead of the recommended 38 psi. This provides some added protection and will help tire wear from factory camber settings

dont waste your time and money. With the larger wheels we have already lost enough power to the wheels. Adding bigger rotors etc increases unsprung mass and just slows the car down more. The stocks are adequate imho. I would only go to larger brakes if I added some power to the car. In fact with the 22s we have taken power to the wheels away
Even with the added rotor size, the weight savings from a cast aluminum caliper and aluminum rotor hats will actually save weight from the OEM set up.

Seems like those specific springs are an ideal setup for getting the needed moderate lowering without destroying the ride quality.
I would think the 22's have a bigger impact on the ride than the Tanabe NF210 springs. Did you do the wheels before the springs?
