ML Nav motion override and iPhone Interfaceoptions?
1. On my IS I did the nav hack (pink/ wht silver) with a switch and that worked great!
Does this work on my 2008 with ML with Wgy does everyone use the$350 PS option if a $3 switch will do the same thing?
2. Does grounding the red wire to make the Dvd play while in motion hack work? I don't want it for me I want it for my passengers when we do our 20 hour road trip this summer.
3. I had the sl2ic installed on my old IS, looking on Vaistechs site it seems like it "might" work. Version 10 does not version 12 does? Or am I reading this wrong? The question, what iPhone interface that will show video is available for my ML with nav?
4. How the hell do you get these side panels on the console off? Tried the methods for the IS but these panels are not coming off so easily.
Thanks in advance,
Sam

Cant speak to 2 and 3 Sam, but the side panels on the LS come off very easily.
Take the front of the panels that end just under the dash and pull them horizontally towards the door, away from the console about 3 inches, then rotate that up, vertically towards the ceiling and back and they rock right out where they meet the side of the center console box. There are about 6 clips that hold it in and thats it.
