the "L" emblem is back on btw.

I understand your opinion I8ABMR but i did this because the "LS 460" was already missing when i purchased the car + i got my license plate matched

EXACTLY.... its like the guy who owns a rolex (fyi I LOVE high end watches) but theres no need to add a 20k diamond bezel JUST to draw attn.. if thats your thing fine.. but sometimes the understated makes a larger statement...

an b4 i get hit w 20 comments i just got myself a Hublot Big Bang for my 38th bday (rose gold tasteful an elegant) but no crazy upgrades...

too some it up.. for the people who know quality theres no need to advertise

Shibumi said it right but I understand exactly what I8ABMR says.
Ive done it on some of my other cars. I think Id just do it to try out something different.

I believe for the 2011 model year Lexus is deleting "Lexus" from many models...now its just the emblem and the model number.

I have a 2011 and you are correct. No "LEXUS" name on care, only the logo and LS460 AWD.

I think I like it, the "L" stands out enough to not make it cheesy, I think it will look clean debadgedn

Quick picture of my work from today. Removed the Sewell, Lexus, and LS460 badges. I kept the Lexus and LS460 badges in case I decide to sell.
