Price thoughts on a 2007 Lexus LS460L - 32K Miles
Recent change of plans on the direction I want to go so now thinking about getting a LS460 under 50K miles. Came across this one on Cars.com on my search today.
For those that recently purchased one or are currently going through the buying process can you please share your thoughts on this please. My initial reaction was that the price is way too high but every LS is different I know.
Cheers,
James

Tow Package? why would anyone put a tow package on a 100k premium luxury sedan. Price wise I think that is high for an 07, Mid 40's would be more in line with the market right now, does it have ML? says Premium, but I would think anyone spending top dollar on the exec system would have had the ML system added

Thanks. It appears as though this seller may not have been meticulous about making sure the ad was correct.
Other "Features" that dont' make sense including the one you mentioned...
TV/VCR, Third Row Seats, Tow Package

It seems high but it is tough to find one with the features you noted. I haven't seen many with the TV/DVD player/ML system in the back seat armrest but there is a nice silver/black one with that system with 32k miles on the Manheim website located in PA right now but doesn't have a condition report.

way way way over priced. I just got my 07 460L with 32 k on it for $39k. The 460L is not priced that much higher....new....or used. The wheels look horrible as well
I cant believe they even stated that the selling price was over 100k. We are talking a 460L not LS600hl with all of the bells and whistles. I would keep looking

Hmmm, well I think it actually could be close to 100k. I figure 71k base price, 13k for the exec seating package, 6k for the Radar Cruise and PCS (which it has--at least the radar--look at the front emblem), probably has ML, so that's 2k, then the Nav/front seat Lux package... so overall, close to or over 100k.
That said, if it's not a CPO, then I'd say that <45k is reasonable and only because the mileage IS so low after all. For me, the lack fo 5 full seats for a luxury sedan would be deal breaker. Of course, this assumes no accidents, mint interior, etc. If you priced this exact same car today, it would be over 100k, assuming you could even get it as Lexus has moved some packages around since 07 and made some unavailable in certain areas.
EDIT: oh and those rims, ugh, not nice at all, that would probably knock off another 5k in my book! And unfortunately, in my area at least, the blk on beige would also knock off some value... black/black seems to command slighty higher prices in my searches.

My '07 460L exec had a MSRP of $92K. I think it has everything (except the tow package). In CA with tax it would hit $100K. The execs are normally pretty rare - in those days it was very hard to find one on the showroom floor, so most all of them were special ordered. The massage is very nice (there are actually two different massages, and my wife loves to put her feet up while I chauffer her around. Less trunk space because of the extra room for the reclining seat and only four passengers - 3 if the ottoman is up and the front passenger seat is all the way forward and collapsed.
