Like I said, I am happy, didn't have to pay the bill and got my car back undamaged. The service is still good and I will be back for the next oil change in 3k miles.

Hell no im not straight with anyone drivng my car. The only time i allow anyone to drive me car is when i take it to the shop and they have to test it. If they drove it to someone elses house i would be beyond pissed off. Who knows waht he did to the car b4 calling lexus. Not all people are equal some people will ****ing around in my car. Considering I get pissed everytime i see a new scratch on my car i would be ridiculously pissed. Def get lexus involved in that ****

When I worked for a BMW dealer as a service writer we had a car stolen from my techs bay one night. The cars owner was some kind of K9 trainer. He had left a hand gun in the trunk. The car was recovered in about 2 weeks. Inside was littered with misc trash. Gun still in trunk. We cleaned the car up real nice and comp'd the bill. He took the car then brought it back a few days later and insisted he get it traded for a new one. He stated the drug dogs were hitting on his car. I guess if you're a cop you don't want drug dogs hitting on your personal car. His was a very new 3 series, low miles as well. Prob had it less than a year old. Anyway, the dealer finally made him a deal and he drove away in a new car.

Lexus customer service has dropped seriously over the years... if this would have happened in Japan, somebody would loose a finger.

You'd think someone at the dealership would have used the panic button as they walked through the parking lot looking for the vehicle. At least that day you'd have know it wasn't on the lot, LOL, then again, perhaps they knew and didn't want to fess up...
