Given the market, what deals can I expect? A couple thousand above invoice or even invoice? This is for the So. Cali market.

Hi everyone,
Just picked up my 2011 LS 460L yesterday below invoice. This site has been very helpful in answering a lot of my questions. Finally a Lexus family member. Will continue to use this site as resource for questions and answers.

Thanks everyone for welcoming me into the family.
My research obviously started out on the forums and dealer websites. I than went out the the many dealers in the O.C., Newport, Tustin (both own by the same person), Cerritos and South County. The best I could get initially was about 4 thousand above invoice ($68,850.00) from a face to face negotiation. This invoice for the LS 460L included the Mark Levinson package.
When I told them I wanted invoice they all laughed at me and told me to go ahead and I buy it wherever I could find someone offering invoice.
Still determined, I looked at internet sales. The best internet price that I got offered was $2500 above invoice from Longo Lexus. However, that was a conversation over the phone and I did not want to drive all the way out there and have the guy misrepresent the offer and it being a waste of my time.
A friend than referred me to AutoNation Direct. I got contacted and within 24 hours brought the car home. I'm serious when I say 24 hours and the car is in my garage! Everything was done over the phone and email conversations. The invoice price I got was $68,385.00.
Also, AutoNation found me finance rate with B of A at a rate of 3.65%. Lexus was offering 4.5% and my bank (WellsFaro) told me it would be at least 4.5 - 5%. Crazzzzy.
