Seat belt LED plastic diffusers loose?

Seat belt LED plastic diffusers loose?
Has anyone had the plastic diffusers come loose and jam the buckle?
I inspected it and noticed one of them had come loose, using a set of tweezers I accidentally knocked the other side out quite easily. The original culprit however took a bit more effort to come loose.
Here they are removed:

my driver's side ones have broken off too -- they're probably floating around on the carpet somewhere in the car. going to take it in next week.
my tech friend advised me that it comes as an entire assembly and they won't be able to just replace the diffusers

My driver's side diffusers have disappeared also. This could present a safety issue involving seat belts. I smell class action activity.
