He "put washers between the mid pipe and axle back", according to the comments section of the video.
Not a fan of this sort of approach... creating exhaust leaks under the car isn't worth it, IMO. If you are sitting at a light that leaking exhaust is going to be coming straight into the cabin, and our cars sometimes run a bit rich.
If it's after the cats it shouldn't be too bad. Cats are supposed to clean that exhasut after all. But yeah, not a great idea, especially if theres anything nearby that the heat can ignite like brake lines, insulation etc....
Idle and low RPM sounds almost identical to my old ISF which is what I was aiming for. I would upload some videos, but the sound does zero justice until I can find something with a better mic.
Wow, those really LOOK nice. It's too bad they're all but hidden up under the car. Items that look THAT nice should be on display. Kind of like how you can see a motorcycle's exhaust.
Hello everyone (I know this thread is really old, but hoping to get some suggestions). So I am at a tipping point on my LS. It is going to need an exhaust sometime in the near future. Does anyone have info on what aftermarket exhaust is out there for these cars? I cannot seem to nail down an exact system that will bold in (if it is even an option) to my model.
Nice! After I did all kinds of keyword research I didn't find as many options as you. Just a bunch of cheesy res and muff deletes. I seen a few of those brands. The Two I haven't heard of that I liked you posting is Fox and INGS+1. Especially that Fox. If anything I'll just get a decent axle back exhaust. The Megan one isn't too bad. I guess. Our cars seem to just be best to hook up cosmetic wise. Because they said screw providing us with parts. Lol
