Default Fogs arent Working

Just got my car back from the body shop after getting the Wald fenders put on and my fog lights arent working. The technician at the body shop said everything was connected. The 15 amp fuse was blown. We tried a 10 amp and a 20 amp (didnt have a 15 amp on reserve) without any luck. When I try to turn them on the the green light near the odometer shows they are on and I am not getting an error message. Anybody have any ideas?

so is the body shop willing to look at it again? If they were working before, how could they of messed that up?? Check relays and all fuses. Sounds crazy, but are the connectors on the bulb ok? High beam activated? Hate when stuff like this happens..usually something simple but impossible to figure out

the fact that the fuse was blown is not good, that means they shorted something putting your fenders on. If its lighting up the dash then you have power to that point, you could check to see that they did (indeed) connect the harness to the back of the lamps, easy enough to just pull the inner lining back to look at it. It sounds like it went from shorted to now no connection would could mean then severed a wire along the way that is all in the fender area.

btw they are independent on the outputs, so it would be likely that they just didnt connect both bulbs, maybe thought they did, but the short and popping the fuse is a minus. Also this car has a very sensitive electrical system I would not put any fuse in there that was over the amount recommended or you will cook something else. Sounds like something on their end tough.

CJitty could be right though, if the highs are on it cuts the power to the Fogs

Thanks for the suggestions/input. Its def a pinched wire, etc. I tried a 15 amp fuse today and it instantly blew (like a street *****...LOL). So I have to take it back to the body shop and have them diagnose it and find out where the wire has been cut, etc. Hopefully they wont have to take the fenders or front bumber off again. I will post pics as soon as I can. Thanks Again !
