Driver door passenger window switch
For some reason, the window switch on the drivers door for the front passenger window will not work. Any ideas or easy fixes as opposed to going to dealer?

OK, if your a handy DIY person than read more, if not then just have the dealer check it out.
I would check the fuses under each side in the front and the one in the back (trunk) to see if any of the ones for the window motors are blown. The manual has a great set of IDs on which are which, but you will find a fuse box for the driver side under the driver dash and another that is often overlooked in the trunk. There is another on the passenger side, but if that side is working I would say your probably ok. There is an ECU in each door that controls the electronics for each door including lights, entry and window etc. If everything but the window switch is working its not the ECU, but it could be just a bad switch or that the switch has come disconnected some how.
The door panel comes off easily with 3 screws and some snaps, but if your not a DIY person I would have the dealer take a look.
