Default Oil change warning display

Is there any way to get rid of the "oil maintenance" warning on the display? I will be taking my car in for the 30k service soon but in the mean time I want to get rid of the warning and the hazard light. I couldn't see anything in the manual for it. thx.

Make sure your trip odometer is on A
With the car turned off, press and hold the reset button for the trip odometer
Foot off the brake, press the start button twice while holding the reset button
and wait for it to reset.
light will go out
Turn off ignition.
