Have you checked out Pirelli's NERO's? I have them on Lexani '22's. I understand they're good for 15-20K. I'm not tough on tires and drive only 4-5K a year, so that makes a difference. I believe if you drive 12-15K miles a year, you're gonna have to replace them every year anyhow. Even the OEM High performance 18"Michelins are only rated for 15-20K. I guess it all depends on climate, road conditons, driving habits, etc. as to how long they will last. Another thought, I wouldn't trust any of them in icy or snowy conditions, which is why I've kept the OEM's.

The most quiet and comfy tire I've ever tried was the Bridgestone 960AS. Don't know if it comes in 22 though.
Checked, they don't.
I'm on Conti DWS. They are quiet but the non-assymetrical tread doesn't hold up well with poor cambered suspensions. Once they wear unevenly, the wear affects the rest of the tires' ride characteristics (yeah, I did a lot of consultation to come to this conclusion). Botton line...this is my second set and they don't perform well long term under poor camber. Catch them early and rotate, you'll love them.

can these tires be flipped, despite the asymetrical design, opposed to rotated?
