I hit the gas door release button, i hear it click... but it doesnt pop out.

I believe there must be some sort of bumper or spring that fell off the inside of my gas door that helps it "spring" out when the detent tip retracts into the solenoid.

Can someone take a pick of the inside of their gas door. prefferably not a black one as it way not show a black bumper if there is one.

i saw somewhere that there is a spring tab on the inner side of the gas door but I believe mine may have broken off.

there is a emergency gas door lever in the trunk on the driver side............refer to Owner's Manual page 66
