I am a huge fan of Zaino also. I use all the products you use and Z8 is my favorite final coat. This stuff really holds up to the elements also. Awesome job.

The stuff is so easy to use . I did another coat of ZCS and Z8 tonight after dinner. I am waiting for the ZCS to cure for another hour and I am going to go down and do a final coat of Z8.

obsessive?...yes, but its a labor of love. It something I have always enjoyed doing

LOL. I will make sure to bring an extra set of polarized sunglasses . Its times like this when I miss my GS. That dark blue paint would reflect like a mirror. Its a lot harder with white. I think the car looks glossy more than reflective. I just completed the ZCS and additional z8 layer and the hood looks wet. Its pretty cool. Do you use Zaino at all?

i mainly use zaino on my cars as well. they don't give the best shine and deepest wet look especially on dark color cars, but if you talk about overall package including durability, i think zaino is still the best

Nice! You think the water will bead on it if it rains (not that you would ever take it out under such climate conditions)?

Looks Good! I used to be a Zaino guy too, but after I discovered matrix micro coating... no more waxing ever again. My car is a 2007 and it looks better than new - I have never waxed it.

The car does look better than new. I have never heard matrix micro coating. Is it something that you apply yourself or is it done at a dealership or professional detailer

It's something that has to be professionally applied. A local detail shop around here applied it for me. NOT CHEAP... They need to use special heat lights, etc... full day job. But the car has this ceramic coating now that improves over time.. just amazing. Aviation grade stuff. If I remember right I paid almost $800 back then for the thing. But I'm telling you, it's worth it because all I do is go through the car wash and the car looks absolutely pristine. And yes, carwashes came a long way from the horrors of the 70s - they have good technology today, no scratches. (Not the dinky small chevron washes, but the professional tunnel ones).

pretty cool. $800 is baller prices though. I will admit I like doing it to much to pay that amount. The other day I did decide to call a professional detailer to spoil myself and not have to do the work when its 110 degrees but he wanted $375 for a total detail. My car is usually kept immaculate ( I come home every day and clean my windshield and wipe down the hood and front bumper to get rid of the dead bugs that swarm in AZ this time of year) so to spend that kind of money to have a clean car cleaned was crazy to me
