And since 24 is what is specified ... and since my LS460 had a 24 in it when I bought it ... you should be good to go to using the 34R.

I replaced a size 34R with a size 24 when I first got my car used. The main reason was because the 34R was shorter, and the clamp did not fit right without a spacer. This also affects the engine side cover.
