Talking Vossens are on finally :D

Hey guys well i finally got my Vossen CV-1's on yesterday. i really liked how it turned out on the stock ride height but it will look better once i drop it on the tanabe springs. im going to wait until i get the control arm +2mm extensions so i can install them at the same time i install the springs so i dont get that aynnoing camber tire wear, but in the mean time it still looks great and truly turns heads...without further rambling here are some pics
(sorry they are crappy ip4 pics and it was raining)

the wheel specs are 22x9F 22x10.5R +35F +38R
tires are Continental DWS 245/30/F 295/25/R

Let me know what you guys think of it so far

Can't wait to see it dropped.
When you drop it, post better pics...so we can enjoy the beauty better.

I love it. The concave look works on the LS. I am not saying this because mine is not dropped but I really dont think a drop is needed. It will look better dropped but how much better? This is the situation I am in with my car.

VOSSEN rocks!!

Thanks for all the compliments fellas I was really surprised of how nice they turned out on the stock ride height. Some 1st driving impresions, the car handles WAY better and it gives me a LOT of confidence while driving. The brakeing has changed a little bit and needs just a bit more effort but I think that's something I'll get used to.acceleration has cut. Down just the slightest but doesn't really have that much of an effect. I can definitely feel that the car is higher but it's kinda a nice feeling. Thesenwheels DEFININETLY. Turn heads as I've gotten LOTS of nice comments surprisingly and a lot of looks. The ride is probably 10-15% stiffer and the tire noise is up and kinda howls on some concrete roads but it is still very comfortable and almost nothing compared to any of my old sport cars. You wouldn't notice it if you didn't really try to listen for it. Also I didn't realize how much the tire would be stretched with these sizes but I'm not sure if that's just how all big rims are supposed to fit on. I'm going to do a photoshoot but I'm going to wait until I get the springs on. If I had seen how it would turn out on stock height I probably wouldnt of gotten the springs but since I already have them I'm gona go ahead and install them. Next on my to-do list is tint. Also thinking of painting the grill black. But I rally like how this turned out. I will try to get some better quality pics tomorrow if the weather holds up. Stay tuned !!

Also, I wanted to ask those with 22's what tire pressure is good? The roads are good here so I don't want to run anything higher an needed, right now they are all set to 41 and they go up to 46-48 while driving (according to the toms sensors) is this normal? Thanks

In AZ its about 108 to 110 everyday. With the higher temps I see the pressures on the dash read out go from 41 to 47 after just about 5 to 7 miles of driving at 65 to 70 mph. Pretty normal. Before the summer they used to top out at 45, but with the added heat its more like 47

LOL, Im right here.

Wheels are looking good bro. A little drop will help it out due to the size of the tires. I can honestly tell you that they do turn a lot of heads. I had a guy in a Bentley give me the thumps up a few days ago.

This is exactly the color and wheel combo I want to get. Now I know what they look like on a black LS. Elegant looking wheels. Congrats to you both!!
