I am unable to play DVD Audio disks in my new to me 2010 460 l with the ML audio system. The system plays the first few seconds of the track, and then skips to the beginning of the track. This process continues in an infinite loop. I have tried multiple DVD Audio disks, and all have the same problem. Regular CDs play fine.

However, with the "Engine Start Stop" button in the Accessory Mode, the DVD Audio disks play correctly. As soon as I turn the ignition on, or start the engine I face the "skip to the beginning of the track" problem.

Am I missing something, or is it time for a trip to the dealer?

I haven't heard of this problem before. Are the "DVD Audio" discs to which you refer commercial ones? I do know you can't play DVD discs with MP3 files on it.

Yes, these are store bought DVD Audio disks, like the Who's "Tommy".

Unfortunately I don't own any DVD Audio discs. The supply (classical) is rather limited and cost is quite high. Perhaps someone else on the forum has played one and can comment. The manual lists DVD Audio as a supported format.

it should play w/out any issues. Take it to the dealer and have them address it.

All of my DVD Audio discs play w/o any issues but mine is not the facelift model (2008 LS600hL)
