LS 460L Modification Questions
Good Morning,
I am new to this and need some honest recommendations and feedback. I have several questions but will post a few at a time to make it simpler on those kind enough to respond.
- When upgrading the LS 460L to 22 inch rims do you have to change the speedometer/odometer so mileage and speed are displayed correctly? If so how?
- What if you stick with 21 inch rims, do you still need to make the modifications?
- Do the larger rims sizes cause any added maintenance to the car...axles, steering components etc.?
- Are larger brake packages/upgrades necessary or just a good idea?

- you don't have to adjust speedometer as long as you get tires that are in spec so the overall diameter is close to stock
- same thing. key is tire choice, the size of rim doesn't matter
- not that i know of. of course ride is affected
- it's not necessary but it looks good and will help on brake fade, which might result from the heavier 21s 22s setup

Thank You Rominl.
I am looking into getting the lowering module. Want to be able to control the ride hight based on road conditions. Anyone experiance any drawbacks to using the module?
