460L w/o Air Suspension and Lowering Springs
I have a 460L WITHOUT air suspension. When I bought the car, I didnt even know the "L" had this option. So now I want to drop my "L" with Tanabe springs and called them about the 'L"
They said their springs were tested on a non L and with the added weight, they are not sure if it would be good for a 460L.
Does anyone in this club have a 460L without air suspension and lowered their car with springs?
Did it change the handling or the drop? Any issues? I hope Im not the only one with an "L" without air suspension.

Should be a non issue. Plus the Tanabes allow the car to sit a little higher in the rear than the front, so if anything the car will still sit nice!! I like the "raked" look the Tanabe's provide

Is the 90lbs heavier due to the extra 5 inches of car length or is that factoring in the air suspension components and related parts also? If not, then the extra 90lbs could be even less w/o those a/s components..just a thought. I can't see you having an issue..if it was two or three hundred pounds maybe but not 90 or under

Lexuspower, if you live anywhere near Orlando, I have the perfect place for you to get these installed for about $250...install went great for me. And $1300 less than the dealer wanted ftw!

Can you look at your driver door jamb label to provide your vehicle weight? I can look at mine for my swb so we can compare total weight difference and figure this out and you can enjoy this Tanabe goodness too. I don't believe there is a difference in strut setup either. Maybe compare spring and strut oem part numbers between a swb and lwb. That would be even more good data to have

I thought each car would have its "specfic" weight based on options, etc. So I was wondering if the 4332 lbs of the LWB is assuming air suspension components or not? I was trying to see if the number would be even less than 88lbs difference so the OP would have a better comfort level installing the Tanabe's. 88 lbs is certainly not enough to worry about in my mind, but if it is less, its just more gravy on the fried chicken
Based on this parts list, it appears there are no differences in strut mounts or anything like that from a SWB and LWB with NO air suspension installed. I did a search and it lumped the SWB and LWB in the same category and only calls out air suspension pieces within the diagram
