Shopping for LS460
hi all
I am still shopping for LS460 , I found alot of offers , interested on one of them , but the car was involved in an accident as per carfax report , but with no airbag deployment .
what do think guys , does that mean that the accident is very minor ?
thanks

And please ... May we offer a suggestion ? Don't "shop" just "locally" to where you live. Flying to go purchase what you perceive as the RIGHT LEXUS for you can mean the world to you. Sometimes ya gotta do this to get say, the right PRICE, or the right LOW MILEAGE, or the right EQUIPPED OPTIONS you desire. And then ya get the extra fun of driving your new baby back home.
Good luck in your search. The end result (ie, REWARD !@) is more than worth the effort !

When I was shopping around awhile back I came across a LS that had a accident and there were a number of problems with it that you wouldn't find on a regular visit to the dealer. Especially on the technology crazed luxury cars you don't want to have a car that has been in an accident. Good luck with your search!!

Yeah, I agree. This is a different world from a 1959 Dodge where they hammer out some sheet metal and shoot some paint on it and call it good. Just the jar of an impact can cause scores of potential electrical problems down the line when switches or connectors fail. If we were talking about an original Shelby Daytona Coupe, there were only 3 made so you have no choice and all of them were probably wrecked more than once! LOL!
But there are 1000's of LS460's out there for sale and new ones come on the market every single day so there's no need to "settle" for potential problems 2 months or 2 years from now IMHO.
Good luck.
