My wife was driving her 07 LS when out of the blue the car told her she had a text message and asked if she wanted it to read it to her. We have had this car for about 2 years now and it has never done that before. Where the heck did that come from?

Do all ls's do that?

Sounds like your wife has a Smartphone phone that can read sms text messages over Bluetooth. The BT in our cars is just a receiver; the phones have all of the controls/features that have the functionality to transmit to the car.

Oh ok shouldve figured that. She has the windows 7 phone from lg Optimus. I just updated it. I need to get that to work in my car. Thanks.
