Default 2013 Model changes

Any reliable info on the probable changes for 2013? I'm wondering if I should get the 2012, or wait until the 2013 models come out. Thanks

I have been told there will be a minor -major design change on the 2013 LS. I wonder, if they will change the interior and front- end, to look like the new 2013 GS?

i hope not!!! I see a engine upgrade 5.0 and maybe a few tweaks... maybe some new sheet metal since the engine will be bigger.

My understanding is that it is the 2014 model that will be the redesign and it will be available in Spring 2013.

My dealer has indeed indicated this to me. The next generation LS will be ready early in 2013.

New S and Equus will push Lexus to improve current LS, but yes, it can happen for 2015 model only, so for now only improving navigation and adding enform.

Just yesterday, while discussing the new GS with my salesman, he told me that a "totally new" LS would be coming in late 2012. There will be at least one new GS at the Houston Auto Show.

For what it's worth, I've found car salesmen in general to be the least knowledgeable people about the very product they sell.

Anyway it is great to know that 2013 will be complete redesign looking like European car. So it looks I stick with LS unless Hyundai will come with something outstanding

Salespeople have little knowledge of New models because Toyota and Lexus Manufacturers/Sales Want all the prior year model inventory depleeted before they educate the dealers with new models. They only give brief info. When the vehicle are relesed for launch then the educate dealers.
