Low Key Battery
I am getting a dashboard message that the battery in my key is low. Is this a DIY job? I would think so. HELP!

Shibumi: I did our 2 'fobs' in maybe 18 secs each. Could not have been any easier or faster. Oh ! And all I did was sumptin' really dumb ! ==> I got the Owners Manual out and read wut it had to say. It could have not been clearer nor easier.
And ta think, Lexus spent ALL of the time & money ( $$$) puttin' this important information in an easy to read format, and then bound it in Leather for us. Amazin', ain't it ?

What about the "credit card" key? Did any of you ever replace the battery in that one? I always carry 2 keys with me just in case of one failing - I'm still learning to trust electronic equipement (I don't think I ever will 100%)

I admit I was a little skeptical at first, mostly since my pocket was so empty. But now, I always feel weighed down when I drive another car with a key fob.

It comes standard on the 450H except for the base model as well. Its awsome to have. As long as I have my wallet I am good to go. No keys to carry around. I also have Smart Start so I can use my phone to unlock/ Lock and open tailgate. The factory remotes and the ones that came with the remote starter sit in a drawer in the kitchen.
