Question About Satellite Radio Option On LS
Good Evening All...
I just recently joined the ranks of a Lexus owner (again). I previously owned a 2000 RX 300 and a 2004 LX 470. I just purchased a 2007 LS460 L with the executive seating package (truly amazing car) with 19K miles from my local Lexus dealership. I see that the satellite option is XM. While I am aware that XM and Sirius are now one company, I am also aware that the programming is still different. My question is this...Can I add Sirius (Howard Stern fan, so can't listen to Howard on XM) programming as the LS is currently set up? Or, do I need something to add on to the factory deck to make it compatible with Sirius? If so, I would be most appreciative if someone could point me in the right direction. Any and all replies are most appreciated.

I paid for the upgrade and I never use mine. I always forget that I have it available because I never use it. This thread reminds me to try it out.

I paid $169 for a year which includes the licensing fee. All you need is the serial numer of the unit when you subscribe. ............the number is in the manual
