What HID kit is everyone using for fog light?

I'm also running a DDM kit in my fogs. The color output is great but every once in awhile, one side won't fire up. Think I'll give them a call one of these days and see if I can get a replacement bulb.

Are you by chance starting the car with the fogs in the on position? If so, that will cause that. I hate the fact the Auto setting will turn the lights on before the car starts instead of a 3 second delay after car is running. Ballasts do not like power surges and I never start car with lights in Auto mode..especially in garage or at night #designFail. This also stresses the bulbs. Always remember ..start car then turn on lights. Turn lights off then turn off car...bulbs and ballasts will appreciate you

Yeah..try it out. What happens is the ballasts get interrupted power during the start up "surge". Notice how the headlights slightly flicker upon pushing the start button and lights are in Auto. The aftermarket ballasts really don't like that so if it doesn't have enough juice it defaults to off. 4 ballasts are competing for power on startup, and headlights get juice first. If one hid fog light is out, usually a quick off then back on will take care of that. Once car is on, I turn on headlights and about 5-10 secs later I turn on fogs..never an issue.. good luck!
