Default Vossen vss-cv1 and lexani Cvx-55

Besides brand are there really anything different from the 2 wheels? They almost look identical. thinking bout getting lexani's now... About 400 dollar different for the set.

Most likely they came from the same manufacturer overseas. I would compare warranties between the two brands. Vossen has a GREAT warranty so you might want to consider that before buying lexani.

The concaves are different and there are clearly differences that I can see just by looking at them ...I am more particular about things than most folks tho lol..the warranty is 5x better with Vossen

The spokes are different. I think Vossens look more sleek. Try the vendors on the forum, they can be cheaper than those websites.

the wheels look identical to me as well upon first glance. i noticed a lot of people on here have been commenting on vossen's warranty - has anyone even had an experience using this warranty?

"wheel warranty" to me is like insurance, no one cares too much about it until you actually need to use it.

I have seen the Lexanis in person and the Vossen spokes are different especially with the machined portion of the face...the Lexanis look a touch more narrow to me. Have to be up close to see the design diffs.

I've had wheels in the past that the finish or clearcoat peeled after one year and was SOL. It is like insurance and you would be hella mad if you had a wheel issue and had to buy a new one. It is nice to know that you would be covered for 5 years. Plus I personally like the way they look more than the Lexanis. I know a member on here had an issue with a wheel and Vossen replaced it without hesitation iirc..at the end of the day, its up to the OP and personal preference

I had an issue with one of my wheels and vossen really took care of me. They stand by their product 100%.

Doesn't seem to be much difference in the wheels. Normally, I would say go for a different wheel because the majority of people on here purchase Vossen so you'll look like everyone else here which isn't that exciting , but out of the two, I would go with Vossen only because of the warranty. Do you have budget restraints that are keeping you with these two wheels? I would recommend looking for other manufactures just for variety.

Break,
Please tell me you're not thinking of purchasing a 19 inch rim? It won't do the car any justice.

I had an issue with one of my wheels and VOSSEN sent me a new set , took back the old set, and payed for the install, balancing, and mounting. I really can't imagine many companies standing behind their products like that. I am waiting to get them installed but I intend on doing a write up on my experience when I can take some pics

i asked the question regarding warranty because I never heard of "wheel warranty" - definitely refreshing to hear at least some companies out there are still taking care of their customers

I don't know of that many wheel companies who offer a 5 yr warranty, then actually take care of the customer should an issue happens and not dodge the customer. Peace of mind means a lot to people even if they don't have to use insurance/warranty, kudos to Vossen on taking care of their customers.
