LOL 1st off welcome and I like how you said "single" on your location (even if it's not intended)

1. You have to send your ECU to some one to crack it ( I forgot which company does it), but people say it is not worth it.

2. Was the car in a frontal accident? I test drove an LS that had the same problem...not sure how to fix it though.

3.I would think that the dealer should be able to do it but again not sure...

I'm not sure where you live exactly but if you can definitely take it to a dealer and see what they can do for you

Welcome to the forums.

To remove the limiter you can choose either

(i) Tom's Racing ECM upgrade; or
http://www.tomsracing.co.jp/products....php?mprID=334

(ii) HKS VAC (Velocity Advance Computer) Type S T-801

Has anyone tried the HKS VAC? It's pricey but it's cool that it lets you get rid of the limiter

Buddy of mine has this installed in his car, it does the job from what I understand and the install was seamless.

Who did he go to? This plus that JoeZ exhaust should make for a very fierce 600. Bring it on S63's!

Cool, I have a lot of family living over in Kuwait and I visit there often. I'm surprised that the dealership is like that there... I know there are a lot of places that fix foreign cars there and have used parts ( in the al shweak district), but you can also buy parts online too.

I'm pretty sure the shop that did the install was SP Engineering. However, both the speed limiter and Joe Z exhaust won't save you from the humiliation you'll face when trying to race an S63 though
