And the dealers profit margin explodes in their favor by having the nerve to charge that much....unbelievable

Just a rant in general but folks simply never search and the same questions get asked over and over and over ...

This is probably the third time I have posted this over the past few months. Part # is PMV-107J, available on Amazon and EBay ...because I am a nice guy and i like helping people save money, here is one of my posts on this matter from late last month https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...=622064&page=3

I picked up my new CV1s and they took the sensors from my VVS082s and put them into the CV1s. Does anyone know if I should anticipate the same issue?? Or am I safe because they are using the same sensors as opposed to new/rebuilt ones???

The REAL issue is the battery. Each sensor's battery has a determinable life.

they were working before with no issue. Even with the stocks on the car and the sensors in my 22s piled in the 3rd car slot of the garage and the car could still pick them up even from a distance of 7-8 feet. This tells me that the battery must still be pretty good

Yes. And I was just saying that the main reason sensors fail is the battery fails. Some owners of cars with sensors do not realize that, at some point, they are going to have to replace at some considerable cost ($$$) to them this Government-mandated order that is supposed to make our lives better. And when the battery life is exhausted, and they must fork over a considerable sum to a tire shop to get this repaired ...... Well, it's a bit of a shock to them. I feel sure all Lexus' owners are immune from such feelings (LOL!).

Best Wishes to all ......... Mikey Lulejian - Lake Oconee, GA
