I8ABMR's new 22" Vossen CV1s and a BIG thank you to Vossen wheels
Hey guys. I picked up my car finally got the wheels put on today. I am so impressed with the way these wheels look. I think the concave design is stunning, especially in person. I also like the way the shine on the face of the wheel works well with the white paint and compliments the brightness of the car. Everyone at the shop said they thought the CV1s look much nicer than the VVS082. I like them both, but I feel like the concave design makes the wheels and the car look a little more unique, fresh, and modern imho. I used to be a hardcore lipped wheel only kind of guy but these concave wheels are awesome. I love the way the spokes on the wheels look faceted. It makes the wheel look more expensive and classy. I got gas after I let the shop and got 2 compliments on the wheels in the 5 minutes I was there. These wheels are eye catching and I know they will look awesome as they spin that beautiful concave face
I also wanted to take the time out to tell the the members on Club Lexus how much I appreciated the help and the amazing customer service that I received from Vossen wheels. I had a problem with one of my VVS082s. Since Vossen didn't have the 082s in stock they agreed to take back all of the wheels, send me a new set of the CV1s , AND went so far as to communicate directly with the manager at the discount tire and even paid for the mounting and balancing ( Im sure this is decided on a case by case basis.) Vossen is truly a top notch wheel company that stands behind its products and has bent over backwards to make me happy , and a long time customer. In the past I have had issues with Asanti, TSW, and Sevas wheels. Its refreshing and unique to find a company that not only offers amazing products, industry leading warranty, fresh designs and styles, but also offers amazing customer service and are truly passionate about their products AND their customers. I wanted to thank Leo, Jav, and Mike at Vossen wheels for all of your help ( especially Leo who has been trying to help me since November) for taking great care of me.
PS sorry for the poor quality iPhone pics. I will try to post better pics later.

Congrats on coming off the 18" factory grandpa wheels & getting 22's back on your whip! CV-1's do look good on a white 460 (first one I seen) as well.
What tires did u go with and size?

Thanks fellas. I am really happy with how they look. Its so nice to have that feeling of excitement as I walk up to the car again. I have ben missing that for a while. I also find that when my car is stock I dont wash it as frequently . The wheels went on yesterday and I already ended up hitting it with the Zaino Z6 and Z8

Thanks David. Its still at stock height but this is why I was telling Tee that our cars still look decent at stock height. Its the little gap in the front that you may notice but the rear sits pretty damn nice as it is. I know the car would look better dropped.......but how much better. I think if they do a camber kit I would be likely to drop. Its not the money on the tires as much as the time in tire shops and all of the repeated rebalance visits. Roads in AZ are so smooth there is absolutely no way to hide a poor balance. In LA, NYC, etc the roads are going to drown out a decent amount of balance issues

Drops always look good but I don't think either you or Tee needs to...the LS without a/s seems to have less fender gap than a/s models at normal ride height based on pics I have seen..car looks great!! I am pleased that so far I am getting pretty much even tire wear on my Tanabes after having discount tire really look at my fronts..but I did get a custom alignment from a speed shop that specializes in lowered cars ..factory settings won't cut it so perhaps you may feel better going lower down the road
