Default Rear LS 460 Carpet Kit

Is there a rear carpet kit for the LS 460? I have two little ones and light interior. Love the color, but would love to preserve it as well. Someone point me int he right direction.

I'm in the same boat but I have black interior. What I do is I buy some nice aftermarket floormats and let them get cruddy. When they get dirty, I wash them with a garden hose. When they get too bad, I toss them and buy new ones. But they last a long time.

You could probably go to a local upholstery shop and get the guy to make a simple 'saddlebag' type of carpet overlay with hemmed edges, something that covers the driveshaft tunnel area as well.

IMHO I would just buy another set and hold on to them.

Excellent idea, I'll have to search for a set that is decent at the same time as being practical. The upholstery idea is grat as well.

Thanks for the link. I'll check out their stuff too. May not be a bad idea to have a third set since I already have black and tan, maybe another black set will help.

I think they're less than a hundred bucks for the set of four through Sewell, with the Club Lexus discount.

Mikey100, you're really on me about "search" and I understand the feature, but I just thought that during a "conversation" it was okay to ask questions that others may know the answer to ... If I'm being hazed that's cool, but WOW.

I think what he is trying to state is instead of opening up a new one why not just use the search feature, many of the questions you have asked has been answered already, I do not think anyone is trying to be harsh but instead of asking use the search feature first.. even if you google it you will get the answer..

And after searching and not finding the answer I am looking for at what point am I "allowed" to start a new thread ... I thought I whole idea is for conversations to be held. I may be wrong, please correct me if I am.

I think across all types of message boards the common etiquette is to search first then post. State that you've tried to search and weren't successful. Maybe you just used the wrong tag words in your search. More often then not most will link you to what you're looking for.

So there's an etiquette book too for the board too? ... oh wait ... Don't answer that ... I'll be back I have to go search that ... Okay, I've searched for etiquette on the LS 460 Forum and can't seem to find the rules on what I can post and when I can post it or what questions and advice I can ask for from the experts ... as I new owner (of a used LS) there are many questions that arise that may have been answered already and many times the previous posts have too much information for us newbies to take in and sometimes we need a straight forward, "live" answer and we ask ... In the future I hearby solemnly swear to search, search, search and pretty much become non-existent before I come back and admit to the masters of the board that I am a search failure. Then, and only then I will ask for permission to ask my redundant question that has already been asked in different words and answered ... Sound cool to you?

No hard feelings ... I actually think that Club Lexus is a cool place and have found many answers ON MY OWN through search, even before joining (that's why I joined) so I won't be discouraged.
