Default suggestions for LS460 L stock to VIP

Can anyone out there be so kind as to list the mods in order from most important or first step to last to get my LS 460 L from stock to VIP showstopper?

SUSPENSION SUSPENSION SUSPENSION. the ride height is the defining factor in a vip or vip-style car.

the second most important thing are wheels. they must be high quality. most vip cars are running expensive multipiece wheels.

the last thing is an aerokit, possibly.

the wheels + ride height are the meat in vip/vip-style, everything else is just the gravy on top.

the stance will need to be slammed, the wheels should be japanese, aggressive wheel fitment that will require fender mods, and body kit. Some will do exhausts and mild cosmetic interior mods like window curtains, pillows, folding tables in the rear, and the famous knot hanging from the rear view.

if you want a show stopper, do something completely custom that no one else can replicate off the shelves. disclaimer to that is, be prepared to spend a lot of money doing so.

this... just to be somewhat decent in the vip game be prepared to spend money. Wheels and suspension alone will be somewhere between 10k - 15k

Since my LS has the "Height High" button, can I just buy the data controller and change the stance that way? I dont want to go air bags because I dont want to void the warranty. I found a website that sells used WORK wheels and used Harditt wheels. Do any of u think thats a way to go too?

yup, no shame in buying used wheels. all of mine are used :P

you'll be able to park the car low with a data systems controller (especially if your car is RWD) but it sucks to drive the car low with that controller -- there isn't enough air in the bags to support the weight of the car so you get this weird bouncy, uncontrolled ride. if you're really serious about this game take a look at the aragosta/youzealand hybrid air suspension that brianlin has -- youzealand disassembles the factory air suspension bag and installs it onto an aragosta coilover. it gives you the ability to use the factory air suspension components and controls and the ability to ride and park super low. it's quite spendy though if you buy new -- somewhere on the order of $6k + your factory components :P

like everyone else said, you gotta pay to play in this game haha
