Next generation LS really needs glass, touch displays for the functions (windows, locks, etc.) rather than conventional buttons and switches. The functions light up once the car is started and turn off when occupant exits the vehicle. That would make it "all new" to me. Overall, I like the refreshed interior and the grille is not too bad on the non-F model. Still, a little over the top for a LS.

I feel like Lexus is a company like Apple they have a great product and the probably feel like they only have to enhance their product. I think that technology is moving so fast you can't or don't have time to slow down and enjoy what you have. We have a lot of tech in the cars we own, but we only enjoy what we are sold on the "wow factor". When it gets old to us it's on to the next and when someone else gets it it's new to them and they discover something else about it and it's like wow I never knew it could do that. Lexus it's a great car and I think they're built to last, just my opinion. What's new is old and what's old is new.Lol!!!!

I have a 2010 and I cannot wait for the upgrade.
? about the F Sport, is this the first time Lexus has this "grade" for the LS? Is there a current F Sport?
Just wondering because I really like the look of the new F Sport but I like a smoother ride so I am concerned that I will find it a bit too rough/BMW-esque instead of what I am used to.
I CANNOT wait to test drive this car though!!

Off Topic point: The F image of the stand was not the standard one (that looks like a measuring caliper).
The good: Lexus put a ton of effort into a refresh and better aligned the LS with the current line up (GS oriented).
The not so good: Effin iDrive and low class F Sport embossing in the front head rests.
The fail: Those 2 toads who announced the car.
