Vibration at freeway speeds
#16
The speed range where it happens is a little large, but it sounds like it could also be that one or more of your tires are out of balance. I would have the balance checked. I don't know if they have Hunter Road Force tire balancers there, but that is what you should look for at any tire shop you use.

rotors have been checked and they are good, but I wonder what does it have to do with the vibration , my lexus has no vibration issues when breaking .the vibration starts only on speeds 100-140 . I have been told that only AWD LS has such problem , why AWD cars only? and what would be the exact solution guys! I have just bought the car from a decent guy and although its an old model but it has only 75000km/46000Miles and everything else is perfect .

Has anyone else been having these vibration issues or found a cure to them?
My 08 was having very slight vibrations from passenger front (I think) and I thought swapping in new wheels and tires would cure it but I notice its still there ever so slightly , only at times, it comes and goes periodically

2014 LS 460 vibration issue
I bought it certified pre owned with about 50k miles and experienced the vibration issue at highway speeds and especially when coasting. Took it in and they replaced both left and right front axles and told me the car was now operating as intended. I still feel the vibration at times so if this persists I'm going to keep taking it back.

So I'm reading through the forum for anything vibration related, as I'm experiencing the same problems as so many with my 2007 LS460 LWB. Been reading some of Tec80's posts on this differential front mount shims. Does that apply to RWD or just AWD? I'm willing to **** on a spark plug if I thought it would help at this point.

Tec80's fix can apply to either as both have rear differentials .The AWD's of certain years suffer from vibration related to the front driveshafts, which is not possible in the RWD variants.

For those that have the vibration how obvious is it? Been trying to figure if I have it on my 13 awd lwb. Does the steering wheel shake like when a tire is out of balance? Or is it barely noticeable where the average joe would be oblivious to it.

Barely noticeable, but it'll feel like it's coming from the front passenger side of the car if it's the front driveshafts, and usually only when decelerating between 60-45mph.
