Default Thoughts on running a body kit without being lowered..

I still can't bring myself to lower my LS. I am however ready to do something to the car to take it to the next level.

Is it against the pimp my ride gods to put the body kit on without dropping it??? Let the comments fly!

I think the wheel gap illusion will be more..I had a 2003 TL type S with a kit and it really looked raise after the kit.. so I dropped it

I was wondering the same thing since it looks like I will be at stock height ( considering the front tires are lasting only 5-10k miles). I was thinking instead of dropping the car and constantly replacing tires for thousands of dollars I will simply change my wheels out every couple of years. WHat do you think of that idea. I have a feeling I will be rolling strictly Vossens on this car. Thankfully they have a nice line up of wheels

The SWB on non Air Susp actually looks pretty good without a drop...For Example, Tee and I8ABMR's cars look really good to me. The gap even gets smaller when in motion. The wheel gap is really only an issue up front..the rear actually sits pretty good. If the front was even an inch less..I would of never dropped mine probably. But, it drove great on Tanabe springs. I think if you are on Factory Air, the data controller is a must have mod before tint, wheels and air freshners lol.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. My LS is also white and to me it actually looks like it's lowered. I think the 22's give it that illusion. Lots of people ask me if it is.The rear sits right on top of the tire and if the front was brought down just a tad it would be perfect.

I might have to just go for it and see what it looks like.
